Established in April 2025 by Royal Decree, the Society for Environmental Awareness (SEA) is an international non-profit organisation based in Belgium.

SEA creates a platform where science, art and shared experience reconnect people with nature and inspire deeper environmental awareness. Through educational initiatives, visual storytelling, lectures, exhibitions and collaborative projects, the organisation brings scientific knowledge and environmental issues closer to wider audiences.

Working with scientists, educators, artists, institutions and communities, SEA addresses climate change, biodiversity loss and the changing relationship between people and the natural world, creating opportunities for learning, dialogue and meaningful engagement.

Founded by Christian Clauwers, SEA brings together a growing international community committed to environmental awareness, education and long-term responsibility.
