As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador, Fellow of The Explorers Club and Royal Geographical Society, and co-founder of the Arctic World Archive, Christian bridges science, policy, and industry.

Christian Clauwers has sailed the world’s oceans and worked with leading scientific institutions and experts to document vulnerable regions at the forefront of climate change. Through his art photography and visual storytelling, he highlights the fragile yet resilient relationship between humans and nature.
His work has been featured by global organizations, including the European Commission, United Nations, and European Environment Agency, with presentations and exhibitions worldwide.
Christian engages audiences through immersive lectures, exhibitions, and conferences. In 2023, he exhibited in the Federal Parliament of Belgium and led a climate debate in the Chamber of Representatives. In 2024, the Belgian government appointed him to lead visual communication for the R/V BELGICA.
